1. My business operates at more than one site now and I am planning to introduce more in the near future. How can the RGT VoB service help? Multi site working presents an ideal opportunity for RGT to show the value to you of its VOB network by providing free on – net calls. If you wish Data access/transfer between sites can also occur simultaneously thus improving the financial benefits even further. Essentially we have the ability to give our customers their own VPN (Virtual Private Network) to a standard that normally can only be afforded by large enterprises. As part of this solution abbreviated extension to extension number schemes can be implemented across sites. New sites can be added easily either with their own numbering plans or as extension to existing PABXs.

2. I am thinking of introducing home working as an important element of my business operations. Can RGT’s network provide such a service? The RGT network facilitates connection of home workers so that they can effectively be connected to the company’s RGT VPN. On net calls to and from the office are free, data can also be carried on the same access link. Their inbound numbers can be made to appear as if they are on the company’s PABX

3. Can my key executives have the capability to work from home from time? The RGT Home working package can be applied to this requirement and secure access for voice services and data transfer can be provided.

4. I also have a need for straightforward ADSL connections at my business sites. RGT has a Nationwide Broadband network. With competitive prices at all speeds. ADSL and SDSL can be provided. Additional economies can be achieved by combining Voice and data transmission over the Broadband circuit which RGT’s network is able to do.

5. I am thinking of changing out or expanding my PABX in the near future. Should I change it out for an IP PABX? RGT’s VOB network attaches to your existing PABX using equipment that automatically enables it for IP. Thus there is no need to change out your existing investment to get the benefits of IP working. Even if your PABX cannot be expanded further we can supplement capacity with our IP Centrex solution so that you do not need to change out your PABX until you choose to.

6. I am thinking of moving but feel I am restricted in my choice of premises because I don’t want to lose my number. Can RGT help? Once your numbers (Geographic or non Geographic) are transferred to the RGT network you can move your premises across BT Exchange Boundaries without having to change your number. Plus with RGT’s Business Mover package we can offer you the security of providing service at your new premises whilst your PABX is in the process of being moved.

7. I am aware of a Director’s duty of care with regard to Risk Management and want to ensure the availability of my telecommunications but at a reasonable cost. What can RGT do about this? Once you are connected to the RGT network we can provide solutions to these problems. In the event of an emergency which prevents access to your premises we can switch calls to Executives’ homes or to other workers if they are on the RGT home worker package. If other sites are still operational and are on the RGT network all calls can be terminated there. If alternative accommodation is required at short notice we can provide IP Centrex Services until a long-term solution is delivered.

8. I have executives who regularly are away from the office and need to keep in touch. Can they take advantage of the internet to do so? If Executives can access a broadband connection be it in a Hotel, Motorway Service station, Airport or even at a coffee shop then they can be attached to your VPN and can make and receive voice calls through a handset or headset hanging off their laptop. Needless to say they can access data, e-mails, etc. at the same time.

9. My access line costs and call costs are more expensive than I would like. Can the RGT service provide me with savings? RGT’s VOB network can save you up to 35% versus BT’s published access line charges. All your calls that are carried end to end on RGT’s network will be free of charge, and all calls that terminate on the PSTN, Mobile Networks, or Internationally will be priced at very competitive rates. Also because RGT’s network also gives you additional bandwidth and Internet access you can make extra savings by using the network for data traffic also.
